The SNL fiftieth anniversary live performance turned a dance occasion as soon as once more when Robyn took the stage with David Byrne to carry out “Dancing On My Personal.”
The pair wore matching darkish khaki fits (becoming barely higher than Byrne’s traditional type) and danced exuberantly with the group bouncing alongside — the sort of efficiency that positively required wi-fi mics.
After “Dancing On My Personal,” which Robyn first carried out on Saturday Night Live on December tenth, 2011, the pair segued to The Speaking Heads’ “This Should Be the Place (Naive Melody).” Byrne has made frequent appearances on SNL over time: by himself, as a member of The Speaking Heads, and as a particular visitor throughout John Mulaney’s “Airport Sushi” sketch.
