Whereas some annual lists and awards are dictated by fan voting and others are data-driven, the “Artist Alternative” record was completely sourced from the scene’s precise musicians. Over 300 of the world’s greatest dance music artists, throughout a plethora of sub-genres, have been contacted and polled in a months-long initiative.
The continued mission is designed to chop by means of the noise and have a good time the enduring impression of digital dance music as acknowledged by those that finest perceive the intricacies of the business: the artists themselves.
