On Friday evening (October 4), R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe and Jason Isbell performed a Pittsburgh rally in assist of Democrats Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. After being launched by the vp’s husband, Doug Emhoff, they performed R.E.M.’s “The One I Love” and “Driver 8” and Isbell’s “Touring Alone” and “Hope the Excessive Street.” Watch footage of the efficiency beneath.
Earlier this 12 months, in August, Isbell carried out at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
